Howard Celebrates the Class of 2025 on The Yard
The 2025 Commencement Convocation will honor an extraordinary class projected to be among the university鈥檚 largest on Saturday, May 10 at 10:00 a.m. The iconic ceremony will return to The Yard and feature Emmy, Grammy, and Peabody Award winner LeVar Burton as the Commencement orator. Additional recognition ceremonies will be held during the week.

Mayor Lilian Seenoi Barr, the first Black person to hold public office and be elected mayor of a city in Northern Ireland, will receive an honorary Doctor of Laws degree at the Commencement ceremony May 10.
